Ms. Doty has over 20 years of experience as an educator in New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. She has worked with Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning for five and a half years where she was a Principal Consultant. She consults with school districts to assist them in the process of aligning standards and benchmarks, developing curriculum units, and training educators in The Pathfinder Project, Dimensions of Learning, Classroom Instruction that Works, Vocabulary Instruction that Works, Teaching Reading in the Content Areas, What Works in Schools.

Jane has worked on educational projects with Disney, ABC and PBS. She received a commendation from the Governor of Indiana for her work with educators in the Indiana TOPHAT Consortia.

Jane received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Keuka College, her M.S. degree in Gifted Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and her Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego.
