Robert J. Marzano, Ph.D.
Robert Marzano received his B.A. in English from Iona College in New York; an M.Ed. in Reading/Language Arts from Seattle University, Seattle Washington; and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington, Seattle. He is a Senior Scholar at Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning in Colorado, an Associate Professor at Cardinal Stritch University in Wisconsin, and Director of Product Development for Pathfinder Education, Inc.
An internationally known trainer and speaker, he has authored 20 books and more than 150 articles and chapters in books on such topics as reading and writing instruction, thinking skills, school effectiveness, restructuring, assessment, cognition, and standards implementation.

Jane Doty consults and trains nationally and internationally with teachers, curriculum developers, and school administrators as they implement standards-based approaches. Jane worked as a classroom teacher for 16 years. She earned her B.S. from Keuka College, her M.S. from Plattsburgh State University, and her C.A.S. (Certificate of Advanced Study) from Oswego State University. Jane is a trainer for The Pathfinder Project.

Diane E. Paynter
Diane Paynter is an international trainer and researcher, she has worked extensively at the state, district, building, and classroom levels in the areas of standards, curriculum and instruction, assessment, grading and record keeping, and literacy development. Diane is a trainer for The Pathfinder Project.
